Piptospatha Ridleyi is a rare plant that is native to Borneo, featuring distinct dark green leaves that can display a light green variegation. It belongs to the same family as Bucephalandras and requires planting on a rock or piece of wood with the rhizome exposed to prevent rotting. This slow-growing plant thrives in low to moderate light intensity and can be grown either submerged or emersed, but if grown emersed, it should be kept in a highly humid environment. With a height of only a few inches, Piptospatha Ridleyi prefers relatively soft water with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5 but also has done well for us in harder water at a pH of 8 .

Common Name for this plant is Pipto Ridleyi
