Twistie pods are about 1 to 2.5 inch aesthetically pleasing seed pods that are great for use shrimp tanks, blackwater aquaria, dart frog vivarium, terrariums, or any other tank where you want to add a natural looking leaf litter decor.
Highly recommended that you boil these in fresh water for at least 10 minute then rinse with freshwater prior to use.

The Twistie pod is one of our favorites here . Small (1 - 2.5") but very concentrated with tannins . These have a very cool, aesthetically pleasing, spiral shape. Hence the common name given to them. These originate from a small tree/shrub in Southeast Asia called Helicteres isora.
