That being said – Water Hyacinth are a great floating type plant that is fast growing. Proves exceptional shade, Nitrate absorption, Fry cover, and offer area for those fish that lay eggs within roots (such as but not limited to: Killies and Rainbows). This plant is a staple among many outdoor tub keepers. This plant will also produce a beautiful white and blue flower (as pictured)
