Golden Sedge - Carex elata 'Bowles Golden'

A variety of Golden Sedge that has slender blades of bright yellow-green foliage.  Golden Sedge is a moisture-loving grass that will brighten a shady area. A very stunning marginal plant for in the shallow water of a pond or stream.  Will adapt well to most any site with sufficient moisture. Semi-evergreen.

Light Requirements: Full sun to part shade
Height and Width: Slow spreading clump; reaches 1 to 2 ft. tall, 2 to 3 ft. wide.
Water Depth: Thrives in moist soils; tolerates shallow water at the edge of the pond
