Sterculia Pods

Sterculia pods are the seed pod of the jungle tree Sterculia foetida found in many parts of Southeast Asia and India. One of our favorites here. 

Sterculia Pods have many benefits for your tank. An excellent choice for but not limited to: Shrimp, Apistos, Badis, Plecos, Cories, and Rams.

These provide:
-Tannins
-Food source for inverts, plecos, and all fish fry species . These will grow a bio-film which allows for grazing
-May help lower the pH value
-Offers a great looking natural hide for the inhabitants

Not only great for your aquarium but these would also look fantastic in your terrariums or paludariums
